This is how we deal…

…with the window in time when it gets so stinking hot in Atlanta that regular play dates just become studies in dehydration and sunscreen application AND the neighborhood pool is not yet open.

We figured our yard sprinkler system was not only useful for keeping our new sod nice and green…but keeping the kids cool and (happily) exhausted by bedtime.

I Heart Faces Weekly Challenge

This week’s challenge? Motherhood.

Sometimes motherhood is taking a picture of your 2 year old who is crying the dirt off her face after you take her shovel away. Why so mean? She was unplanting the flowers that we were planting. Good times. ๐Ÿ™‚

The Goodhearts {Atlanta Area Family Children Photographer}

I love sessions with friends.
Bonnie is my friend. Madeline is Ella’s friend. Patrick is Alice’s friend.

Works out nicely for me, huh? ๐Ÿ™‚

I must say I think Madeline has a future in modeling. Honestly. The eyes on that girl (well, actually the whole family) are amazing. Huge, a beautiful deep brown….I couldn’t stop photographing them. And Patrick’s dimples are to die for. Love these guys. Great, fun session. Enjoy!

Thanks, Goodhearts!
