We were lucky enough to find ourselves with dad/my husband home for two weeks before he had to start a new job. And with our summer vacation already spent long ago on the beaches of the gulf of mexico, we decided on a little mini vacation inland.
Chattanooga here we come.
(Cue the banjos).
We’ve all been here before, multiple times, but solely to race triathlons and anyone who has ever gone somewhere fun and cool and interesting knows…you don’t see anything fun or cool or interesting when you have to swim/bike/run in the Tennessee heat for hours. So, we decided to come back. So much fun. We hit it all. Incline railroad, Children’s Museum, Aquarium, IMAX theater and a Chattnooga Lookouts minor league baseball game.
Such a great city. So walkable, so kid friendly….we were literally blocks from all these places (except the railroad which was an entire 2 miles away). Not bad for a last minute celebration of unemployment.
